Suspect Tyler Robinson, 22, has been remanded in custody after being handed in to authorities in Washington

GB News's National Reporter Charlie Peters has shared "strange" details of evidence relating to Charlie Kirk's murder suspect Tyler Robinson.

Following the worldwide press conference by the FBI and Utah Governor Spencer Cox, Charlie analysed one part of the information given regarding bullet casings found by police.

The FBI and Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed that the suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, is now in custody after being handed into authorities in Washington.

Disclosing details of evidence found in relation to the shooting, Mr Cox told the press conference that bullet casings were engraved with messages that included "if you read this, you are gay lmao" and "notices bulge OWO what’s this?".

Another casing read, "Hey, fascist! Catch!" with an up arrow symbol, right arrow symbol, and three down arrow symbols.

Analysing the messages inscribed on the ammunition, Charlie told GB News viewers: "The inscriptions are quite strange, and you could tell that Spencer Cox was in a way quite confused as he read them out. One of the unfired casings said 'Hey, fascist! Catch!' and then the up arrow symbol, a right arrow symbol, and three down symbols.

"If people are confused about that, I certainly am myself. But looking at analysis online, that's been shared by people who are of a Discord related background, saying that this could be a reference to a video game and the controls you put in before an action is launched on on a video game, although that's just speculation at this point."

He added: "We also heard Spencer Cox say that on another one of the engravings it was 'notices bulge OWO what’s this?', this is quite a well-known online meme where it's a language typically used by gamers and online subcultures to troll or parody online subcultures and people who are involved in roleplaying games."

Pointing out another casing found by authorities, Charlie pointed out a detail that may have been "missed" by Mr Cox: "Another unfired casing, and Spencer Cox didn't pick up on this, was 'Bella Ciao'. This is a very famous Italian anti-fascist resistance song from the Second World War. It's still sung by the Italian left to commemorate the end of fascism.

"And so when we heard those briefings yesterday about anti-fascist ideology, it's likely that this casing was at the top of that understanding. And also that reference of course, 'Hey, fascist! Catch!', which we believe is engraved onto the casing of a round that was fired."

Charlie continued his analysis: "And also the one of the engravings on a casing written, we believe, by Tyler Robinson said 'if you read this, you are gay lmao'.

"Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old is in Utah County Jail. This investigation continues and the director of the FBI, Kash Patel, said they will continue to chase every lead that they have."

Sharing more of the details shared by the Utah Governnor in the press conference, Charlie concluded: "We heard how the suspect's family told investigators that Robinson had become more political in the years before the shooting, and one family member is said to have told the investigators about an incident in which this young man came to dinner and said that Charlie Kirk was coming to Utah Valley University and talked about why he didn't like Charlie Kirk and the viewpoints that he had.

"Now, Robinson had told this family member, we're told by the authorities, that Kirk was 'full of hate and spreading hate'."

He added: "It's understood that investigators interviewed one of Robinson's roommates, who showed them messages between him and an account with the name Tyler on Discord.

"The messages from Tyler refer to the need to retrieve a rifle from a drop point, and of course, earlier on before this press conference, we did hear about a rifle being left at a drop point location in a wooded area wrapped in a towel with a unique scope on it, among other elements."
