Discussing the impact of Charlie Kirk's death on campaigners of all sides of the political spectrum, Ms Dansky said: "The afternoon of the 10th was very difficult for many of us here, including people who agreed with Charlie Kirk and including people including myself, who were diametrically opposed to pretty much everything Charlie Kirk had to say about everything except our shared views on so-called gender identity.

"I do think it is absolutely essential, as the Governor said, that people across the political spectrum come together and denounce political violence, it's just not okay."

Recalling her personal experience with Mr Kirk, she revealed: "He was very generous. There are a lot of people on the political right in America who have large media platforms, who will not platform people, women especially like myself, who are on the political left.

"But he wasn't like that. He was happy to have me join his show and do an interview, it was a delightful interview. He and his entire team were extremely polite, professional, and it was just a it was a human experience."

Reflecting on her gender-critical beliefs and her platform, Ms Dansky admitted she is now "terrified" of becoming a victim of political violence in light of Mr Kirk's murder.

Ms Dansky told GB News: "A little bit of this is personal, because I speak out on behalf of women and girls as a sex class. I am what is known as a 'terf', and I have nothing but the utmost respect for what is called Terf Island, a group that I am involved in called Women's Declaration International.

"The US chapter is scheduled to meet in approximately one week and I will acknowledge I am quite terrified of the possibility for gun violence. As you and your viewers surely know, the United States is obsessed with guns, and I have not ever been particularly afraid to simply walk around.

"But I am very afraid of myself potentially being a victim of political violence. I have in the past I have been assaulted, had things thrown at me when I have simply stood up for women and girls as a sex class, and I've been afraid of gun violence, but I'm especially afraid of it now."

Ms Dansky told GB News that she is 'categorically opposed' to the death penalty

GB NEWS

Asked by host Martin Daubney if she would support the death penalty for shooting suspect Tyler Robinson, Ms Dansky stated she has been "categorically opposed" to capital punishment for several years.

The Democract concluded: "I have been categorically, fundamentally opposed to the death penalty for several decades, having thought very seriously about it over the course of many years. Were I on that jury, I would not vote for the death penalty.

"I'm a lifelong Democrat. I am ideologically to the left of the Democratic Party. But I would never be on that jury, because we have a system in which prosecutors are entitled to strike people like me from the jury if we are categorically opposed to the death penalty.

"I, of course, cannot speculate on what's going to happen here, I just don't know."
