An inspirational university graduate is on track to run 40 marathons in 40 countries in the hope of raising vital funds for charity.
Fresh from completing his law degree at the University of Leeds this summer, Angus Read swapped textbooks for running shoes and jetted off to Moldova in August to begin his ambitious challenge.
Now 17 marathons in, with countries like Moldova, Greece, and Poland already ticked off the list, he is showing no signs of slowing down.
Alongside fulfilling his passion for travel, the 22-year-old is hoping to raise at least £10,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Speaking to GB News as he prepared to head off to Estonia for his next marathon, Mr Read said: "I love running and love travelling so I'm really enjoying it so far.
"I'm fundraising for Cancer Research UK which is a charity that has helped my family a lot in the past, so it is a massive fundraising expedition.
"When I started off thinking about this journey, I was just going to go travelling around Eastern Europe because I graduated from university two months ago.
"I wanted to do Eastern Europe but I started to add more and more to my list - I'm someone who is goal-orientated so I wanted that focus while I was away."

The four-month-long marathon effort, which he calls his "Euro 40-40-4 Expedition", sees the running fanatic complete a marathon every three days.
He uses buses to travel between destinations, allowing himself one day to explore and fuel up on food in each place, ready for his next run.
Mr Read, from Warwick, first got into running after the first Covid lockdowns in 2020 and has completed 50km every week in preparation for the challenge.
He said the weather has proven the most difficult part of completing the marathons so far, which he typically achieves in just over four hours each time.

"When I came out here it was still middle-to-late August, so I was running the first 10 to 12 all in about 28 to 30 degree heat, so that was definitely difficult," the marathoner told the People's Channel.
He added that seeing the donations to his fundraising page, which has almost reached £5,000, keeps him going in the challenging moments.
Mr Read explained: "I feel like I have a bit of an obligation now, so many people have supported me and sent money to the cause.
"There is absolutely no chance in my mind that I will give up at any point.
"That always keeps me going because when you are running for hours and hours, there are definitely moments when you don't fancy it, but it's the discipline of knowing what I am doing it for."
Alongside his fundraising effort, the former law student could also break a Guinness World Record as the youngest person to complete so many marathons consecutively.
He is set to reach the finish line for his challenge in London on December 14, where he will complete his final marathon and celebrate with family and friends.
