Labour MP Samantha Niblett has publicly endorsed an adult website that may be violating UK pornography legislation.
The parliamentarian, who has advocated for Britain to embrace a "summer of sex" and proposed hosting a sex toys exhibition within the Houses of Parliament, has thrown her support behind MakeLoveNotPorn (MLNP).
The platform describes itself as a sex education site and maintains it adheres to regulations designed to prevent minors from accessing explicit material.
However, a Daily Mail inquiry has uncovered evidence indicating the website may not be meeting its legal obligations regarding age verification requirements.

British law mandates that pornographic material must be obscured or blocked entirely until age verification has been completed.
Yet MLNP permits users to view 12-second preview clips before requiring a paid subscription for full access.
The investigation found that graphic sexual content is readily visible during this free viewing window.
Reporters observed footage depicting oral sex, a woman performing a sexual act on a man, and full sexual intercourse.

Crucially, none of this explicit material was blurred or otherwise concealed from viewers.
The site positions itself as an educational platform, though the content accessible without verification is unambiguously pornographic in nature.
Legal expert Yair Cohen, who specialises in pornography legislation, assessed that the website appears to be operating unlawfully.
"It looks like the website does breach the law if it shows adult content within that 12 seconds before any age verification," he stated.

The communications regulator Ofcom has made its position clear on such matters.
According to guidance published on Ofcom's website, age checks for pornographic sites "should be at the point of entry" and "no harmful content" should be visible to users prior to verification being completed.
The regulator has warned that companies failing to meet these standards can anticipate enforcement action.
Cindy Gallop, the 66-year-old founder of MLNP, defended her platform's practices, insisting it complies with UK age verification requirements through its paywall system.
"We can vouch for everything on our website, because every piece of content has been through a stringent human review process to ensure it conforms to our standards of safety," she stated.
Ms Gallop explained that users must create a free account using an email address, through which the site performs "age estimation".
However, two Mail reporters successfully circumvented this system by creating fake email accounts with birthdates indicating they were under 16, yet still accessed the explicit preview clips.
