A Cotswolds wedding venue was banned from using brass bands on its 450-acre grounds after faraway neighbours filed noise complaints.
Euridge Manor, owned by Jigsaw fashion chain founder John Robinson, challenged Wiltshire Council's planning conditions as both "unreasonable" and "inconsistent".
However, the inspector dismissed the appeal, upholding the local authority's strict requirements.
The Cotswolds property has been hosting weddings since 2015, though venue management only submitted a retrospective planning application for events in 2021, with permission eventually granted in May 2025.
Neighbours then lodged complaints over excessive noise and traffic congestion caused by events at the venue.
Wiltshire Council responded to concerns by imposing stringent planning conditions over noise levels and vehicle movements.
Venue management contested several of these, including the prohibition on brass instruments being performed outdoors on the grounds.

The planning inspector has now ruled against the appeal, maintaining the council's original conditions.
Beyond the brass ban, the upheld conditions prevent wedding guests from climbing the Tump, a small hill on the estate - from which sound has previously travelled into the neighbouring village.
Additionally, doors connecting the ballroom and orangery to the outdoor grounds must now be equipped with self-closing mechanisms to contain noise.
Throughout the planning dispute, venue operators argued that weddings held at Euridge Manor generate around £2million annually for the surrounding economy, benefiting local suppliers, taxi services and hotels in the area.

Euridge Manor was the venue for comedian Jack Whitehall and model Roxy Horner on Saturday.
According to multiple media outlets, the wedding is believed to cost the pair around £250,000.
The event was reportedly a star-studded affair, with James Corden, Jamie Redknapp and Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff in attendance, according to The Mirror.

Guests are said to have been instructed to keep their phones off and avoid sharing anything on social media.
Photos taken outside the manor on the day showed guests pulling up in cars with blacked-out windows, with security tightly guarding the entrance.
Euridge Manor describes itself as "a private estate defined by architectural character, landscaped gardens, and a sense of calm that’s rare to find".
According to its website, the "secluded" venue offers experiences "shaped by privacy, space, and thoughtful design - allowing each moment to feel intentional, unrushed, and personal".
