The mystery champion raked in £105,000 from a EuroMillions draw - beating odds of one in 6,991,908

A National Lottery winner from Kent has revealed his first two planned purchases after scooping a six-figure windfall.

The mystery champion from Broadstairs - on the eastern tip of the Garden of England - raked in £105,000 from a EuroMillions draw in April.

And now, he says he plans to jet off on a luxury trip to Mauritius and buy himself a new car.

The National Lottery's senior winners' advisor, Andy Carter, said: "What fantastic news for this lucky EuroMillions player, who is now over £105k richer after striking gold.

"He can now look forward to an incredible holiday to the beautiful island of Mauritius, along with a new car. Huge congratulations."

The winner managed to match the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number on his ticket.

Finding success on such a combination, according to EuroMillions data, comes in at just a one in 6,991,908 chance - a fraction of a fraction of a per cent.

The average payout for five numbers and a Lucky Star comes out at around £170,000.

But in Kent alone, several lottery players have scooped greater windfalls than that in the last few months alone.

In March, James Kitch, from Canterbury, won the People’s Postcode Lottery - bagging him an incredible £333,333 in his bank accountedible £333,333 in his bank account.

The 53-year-old then attributed his win to his mother-in-law’s mysterious dreams - and claimed she had woken up at 3.33am for the previous three nights before her son found out he had won.

A month later, National Lottery organisers launched an urgent search after a winner from Sevenoaks scooped a £3.6million-valued Set For Life jackpot.

The individual matched the winning numbers in the Set For Life draw last October - sparking a desperate bid by lottery bosses to hand out £10,000 every month for 30 years.

Then, just weeks ago, a mystery "Mr A", also from Kent, won £1million on a EuroMillions draw.

"This win is amazing and will allow me to travel more and buy a new home," Mr A said.

"I feel incredibly lucky."
