A health worker from Lancashire has revealed the simple purchases he treated himself to after claiming the top prize on The National Lottery's '£250,000 Win All' Scratchcard.
The fortunate winner, who bought the £2 scratchcard on a whim, described the experience as "absolutely fabulous" when asked about his reaction to the life-changing £250,000 sum.
To celebrate his windfall, the man decided to give himself an early Christmas gift.
He revealed he took himself to the shops to splash out on a premium bottle of aftershave and a pair of stylish new trainers.
Even after making his first purchases, the lucky player is said to still be processing his remarkable luck.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners' Advisor at Allwyn, which operates The National Lottery, extended his congratulations to the Lancashire man.
He said: "What a great stroke of luck to randomly buy a Scratchcard and be a quarter of a million pounds richer moments later.
"Huge congratulations to this lucky man on his amazing win."

A recent professional appraisal revealed the collection has grown to roughly match the cost of a moderately-priced real steam engine, validating what the collector describes as a "wise investment".
The millionaire's treasure trove contains original television props acquired at auction, featuring model carriages, engine sheds and miniature structures visible in the programme's backdrop.
Mr Leighton’s horde includes minute details like one-centimetre-tall champagne bottles and flutes, tiny bunting, miniature cream cakes and foolscap folders.
Some items required restoration, which he undertook with assistance from friends.
The lottery winner's generosity extended beyond railway memorabilia.
He whisked 14 friends away on an opulent five-star villa retreat featuring yacht access, whilst also treating relatives to memorable getaways.
He said: " It's not all trains. I have been able to take my family on some amazing holidays and treated 14 mates to a brilliant five-star villa holiday complete with yacht, and I have my lovely home."
