National Lottery winner given just weeks to claim £10million jackpot as location of lucky ticket revealed

National Lottery bosses are frantically hunting for the mystery player who matched all six main numbers, being 06, 08, 12, 33, 49, 59, scooping the entire jackpot of £10,633,323.

As players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize, the currently unidentified winner has only until April 2 to come forward and collect the huge prize, with officials scrambling to locate the winner.

As per procedure, if the deadline passes without a claim, the entire jackpot will be diverted to National Lottery Projects, including youth care and environmental causes.

Anyone who bought a ticket at a National Lottery retailer in the area on October 4, 2025, whether as a local or as a player purchasing a ticket while travelling through, is being advised to check their tickets.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, said: “We are continuing our search for this lucky Londoner this Valentine’s Day and are urging Lotto players to check their tickets to see if they are our would-be multi-millionaire.

“Maybe it isn’t even a local winner - did you visit the area for the day and play Lotto - did you return home and stash it somewhere safe?

“Think back to where, as I want nothing more than to unite the winner with their prize money.

The search has intensified this week as officials are hoping for a miracle to finally reveal the overnight multi-millionaire.
