London Euston railway station has been evacuated after a security alert in the busy station.
Avanti West Coast confirmed all services out of the station had been suspended until further notice.
Transport for London (TFL) announced the station was closed "due to a security alert".
It follows delays on the West Coast Main Line after emergency services attended an incident between Stafford and Wolverhampton at around 6.30am today.
A major police presence was pictured after a "suspicious item" was called in this afternoon.
The package has since been cleared and GB News understands the station has now been reopened following the incident.
Trains running to and from London Euston may be cancelled or delayed by up to 35 minutes.
Service disruption can be expected until 8pm following the temporary evacuation, National Rail has said.

| PAThe fire service and police dogs were also present at the scene, according to social media witnesses.
Euston is a major central London railway terminus and Underground station in the borough of Camden.
Hundreds of commuters and tourists pass through the station daily.
One social media user at the scene wrote: "Security incident at #EustonStation... They've now moved us all to the bus station. Must be serious."

A third said: "Was just at Euston - full evacuation of the station. Major police presence."
A British Transport Police spokesperson said in an update: "Officers were called at around 2.45pm today to reports of a suspicious item at Euston railway station.
"A cordon was put in place and the station evacuated as a precaution.
"The item has since been assessed as non-suspicious, and the incident stood down."
National Rail spokesperson said: "Whilst service recovers, trains running to and from London Euston may be cancelled or delayed by up to 35 minutes."
