A former police officer has told eyewitnesses with footage of an incident at Liverpool’s Premier League title parade not to put it online.
Hamish Brown urged anyone who fits in that group to instead send the footage to authorities to assist with their investigation.
Speaking on GB News, he said the police will be working hard to find out the “motive” behind the incident.

“Police can fingerprint him now and find out if he has a criminal background pretty quickly.
“They will go and search the house if they can identify one. They have got to find out the motive of this absolutely appalling situation.

“Those who have their own mobile footage of this, don’t go and stick it on the internet.
“That is revolting. Don’t do it. If you have something of value, send it into authorities and they will deal with it accordingly.”
A car rammed into a crowd of pedestrians during Liverpool's Premier League victory parade in the city centre, leaving multiple people injured.
The incident occurred on Water Street at around 6pm on Monday evening. According to witnesses, the vehicle "deliberately" ploughed into fans who had gathered to celebrate Liverpool's Premier League triumph.

Merseyside Police confirmed they were "currently dealing with reports of a road traffic collision in Liverpool city centre."
In a statement, they said: "We were contacted at just after 6pm today, Monday 26 May, following reports a car had been in collision with a number of pedestrians on Water Street.
"The car stopped at the scene and a male has been detained." Police added that emergency services were at the scene and that they would "issue more updates as we have them."
The incident followed a major celebration in Liverpool city centre, where tens of thousands of fans had gathered despite wet weather conditions.
Supporters lined the streets waving scarves and flags as they watched Liverpool's players display the Premier League trophy. The team's victory parade featured two buses bearing the words "Ours Again" carrying the triumphant players through the packed streets.
