A local resident has expressed her shock and dismay following a car ramming incident that occurred during Liverpool FC's Premier League victory celebrations on Monday.
To emergency services confirmed 47 people were injured in the attack, with 27 requiring hospital treatment, including four children.
Speaking to GB News, one Liverpool local named Lily said: "I just couldn't believe it. Someone texted me and said, 'there's a car ploughed into crowds of people', and I just went sick.
"I went sick. That is no accident, that is deliberate. That is deliberate."

She added: "It's absolutely horrible, it's a city. This has got nothing to do with football. This is a city coming together as one.
"I am an Everton fan but at the moment, this is not about football. This is a city coming together.

"Being there for everybody. And you know, it's horrible. It's horrible. And I so hope that they are all okay."
Two people sustained serious injuries, while another 20 were treated at the scene.
Merseyside Police confirmed they were called to the scene just after 6pm on Monday following reports that a car had collided with several pedestrians.
A 53-year-old British man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims of Merseyside Police told a press conference: "We believe this to be an isolated incident, and we are not currently looking for anyone else in relation to it."
She added: "The incident is not being treated as terrorism."
Social media footage appeared to show a grey minivan striking at least one pedestrian before veering into a larger crowd, pushing people along the street before coming to a stop.
North West Ambulance Service said it was assessing the situation and working to ensure people received the medical help they needed.
An air ambulance and other emergency vehicles were deployed to the scene to respond to the incident.
The incident has prompted an outpouring of support from across the football community, with even Liverpool's fiercest rivals expressing solidarity with the city.
Manchester United, historically Liverpool's biggest opponent, posted on social media platform X: "Our thoughts are with Liverpool FC and the city of Liverpool after today's awful incident."
