A Somali born British national has appeared in court charged with attempted murder, following a stabbing attack in Golders Green, north London on Wednesday.
Essa Suleiman arrived at Westminster Magistrates Court just before 9am on Friday.
He was driven in a police van, escorted by four other unmarked police vehicles.
The 45-year-old, wore a prison issue grey tracksuit, as he appeared in the dock for a brief hearing in courtroom one.

The incident took place on Wednesday

He faces two counts of attempted murder, relating to the stabbing of two Jewish men in Golders Green just after 11am on Wednesday.
He has also been charged with a third count of attempted murder.
That charge relates to an incident in South East London earlier on Wednesday morning, in which one person was slightly injured.
Westminster Magistrates Court also heard that Suleiman faces a fourth charge possessing a bladed article.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that one of the Golders Green victims, Shloime Rand, 34, has now been discharged from hospital.
Moshe Shine, 76, remains in hospital in a stable condition.
After a 30-minute hearing, Essa Suleiman was remanded back into custody.
