Donald Trump has been hailed as the "only leader that can bring war to an end" after his "success" in the Middle East, the People's Deputy of Ukraine told GB News.
Speaking on Breakfast with Stephen and Anne, Kira Rudyk further insisted that the President's threat of supplying the invaded nation with Tomahawk missiles was "not an escalation at all".
Mr Trump has been flirting with the idea of handing over the mega-missiles to Ukraine in a bid to ward off Russian aggressors.
But on Friday night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky walked out of the White House seemingly having failed to secure the Tomahawk cruise missiles.

"It's so strange that giving Ukraine Tomahawk missile systems is considered to be an escalation, but the fact that Russian drones have intervened into Polish airspace and then into Estonian airspace," Ms Rudyk said.
"It's not an escalation at all."
She added: "Of course, we need more weapons and supplies to defend ourselves."
"Since day one, starting from our asks for the tanks, for the patriot missile systems, for the fighter jets.

"Russia has always been saying that it would be a massive escalation, and here we are just able to defend ourselves better.
"Look, we understand that President Trump truly believes in diplomacy, but he also believes in peace through strength."
She further hailed that Mr Trump is the "only leader in the world right now who can bring the war to an end" as her "honest belief", citing his success in the Middle East.
Mr Zelensky visited the Oval Office for the third time on Friday evening, just days after Mr Trump secured the historic first step towards peace between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
In the lead up to the one-to-one, Mr Trump planned to pressure the Russian President by handing over the power of the US missiles.

The devastating weaponry would leave almost 2,000 Russian targets in Ukraine's firing line, with Mr Zelensky's troops for the first time able to strike deep inside Russia.
"We really need the weapons because for us, all the diplomacy efforts led us nowhere," she told the GB News hosts.
She further reiterated that Ukraine is "ready for a ceasefire", adding: "The only thing to stop Putin that worked for us was actually fighting back."
But the Tomahawk missiles are yet to be handed over, with Mr Trump adding that he hopes to end the war "without thinking about Tomahawks".
"Hopefully they won't need it, hopefully we'll be able to get the war over without thinking about Tomahawks," the Republican said, adding: "I think we're fairly close to that."
Mr Trump is readying himself to meet the Russian despot in Hungary in the coming weeks.
At the meeting, "high-level" advisers from each nation will attend in the hope of "bringing this 'inglorious' War between Russia and Ukraine to an end", the President said.
Although an official date has not yet been disclosed, the Hungarian Prime Minister confirmed that they are already organising the high-profile summit.
