A man armed with a knife has broken into the Romanian residence of Andrew and Tristan Tate and assaulted a construction worker.
Andrew, 38, wrote on social media that an unknown individual "attacked a construction worker" and "sliced his arm open."

Several hours later, the suspect is believed to have returned to the residence, where security teams apprehended him.

Police then intervened and arrested the suspect.
A police spokesperson said: "The person in question was taken to police headquarters for investigation and is currently detained."
Writing on social media about the incident, Andrew said the man had been "lurking in the vicinity of my house recently" before the alleged attack.
Slamming the police, the influencer wrote on X: "The police are finally getting involved but it took him trying to kill a man before they took action."
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Andrew explained that the house is used by his children.
In response to a comment online, he added: "Security is our primary expense" and "luckily the team at my house do have guns".
According to a source, the construction worker was allegedly attacked with "a sharp object".
"The victim was assaulted with a sharp object, and after the attack, the assailant was initially released after offering a vague explanation regarding a trivial conflict and complaints about noise," the source told ProTV.

REUTERSThe incident follows allegations made in May against the controversial Tate brothers, who were accused of multiple offences - including human trafficking - involving several women in the UK.
The high-profile influencer faces a total of ten charges, which include rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for gain, all related to three women.
His brother, Tristan, 36, has been charged with 11 offences connected to a single alleged victim, including rape, actual bodily harm, and human trafficking.
The brothers are also still under investigation in Romania, where authorities insist that a series of alleged sex crimes must be addressed before proceedings can move forward elsewhere.
