A small plane has crashed in the US after veering off an airport runway and slamming into a home, leaving two people seriously injured.
The aircraft, a Cessna T-41, crashed into a property in Arizona after going off course at Sun Valley-Bison-Fort Mohave Airport.
It struck the garage of a home in Fort Mohave just before midday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
No one inside the house was injured, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said.

However, both people on board the aircraft were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The home is located on the 500 block of Taxi Way, a road running parallel to the runway.
The investigation has been handed over to the FAA.
The incident follows a series of small plane crashes across the US in recent weeks.

In early March, a Piper PA-28 clipped the roof of a home in Phoenix before crashing into a neighbouring yard.
A flight instructor and student on board were taken to hospital, along with a resident of one of the affected homes.
The aircraft came to rest wedged between a pole and part of the house where a baby nursery was located.
Officials said the plane suffered a mechanical failure as it attempted to return to Deer Valley Airport at around 7.20am.

Further north in New York, a flight instructor and student crashed a small plane into the Hudson River last month.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul described the incident as "another miracle on the Hudson" - a reference to the emergency landing by pilot Sully Sullenberger.
Both occupants were able to swim to safety with only minor injuries.
Officials said air traffic controllers played a crucial role, guiding the aircraft closer to the riverbank.
Early investigations found no signs of intoxication or impairment.
The surrounding neighbourhood was evacuated as hazmat crews were called in to secure the scene.
There were 1,201 small plane crashes in the US in 2024, according to the National Safety Council.
The number of deaths fell slightly from 327 in 2023 to 321 in 2024.
All but five of those fatalities occurred on board aircraft.
The FAA has recently moved to improve flight safety, including banning the use of “visual separation”, where pilots rely on sight rather than radar to maintain distance.
