A teenager has been stabbed in broad daylight while shoppers looked on.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Greater Manchester shortly after 2pm after an 18-year-old boy was viciously knifed in an Aldi car park.
The teenager was stabbed in the supermarket car park off Dean Street and Oldham Road in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Shoppers were turned away from the car park as it was closed for forensic investigations.

The teenage victim, an 18-year-old male, was rushed to hospital from the scene with serious injuries. These are not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At 2:10pm this afternoon, Greater Manchester Police received reports that a male had been stabbed on Dean Street, Ashton-under-Lyne.
"An 18-year-old male has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, but they are thankfully not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
"No arrests have been made at this time. Four scenes are in place and an investigation is underway."

One shopper told the Manchester Evening News: "It makes me angry, I bring my two children here shopping all the time, and this happened in the middle of the day. It's madness."
A nearby resident added that they thought the incident was "shocking" but admitted they had stopped letting their kids play outside "because of violent crime in the area".
In nearby Ashton-under-Lyne, cordons were erected on Wellington Street and Warrington Street as enquiries continued into the evening.
No arrests have been made in connection with the attack and investigations are ongoing.
In December, the MEN reported there was a surge in knife crime in Greater Manchester since 2020 according to figures released by the force.
It has been reported that between November 2020 and May 2023 the number totalled 10,864. These figures include incidents where knives aren't necessarily seen or used, but a credible threat referencing a blade or sharp object has been made.
The city-region still has one of the highest levels of knife crime in the country.
Between June 2022 and July 2023, there were 3,012 knife or sharp instrument offences recorded in Greater Manchester which is 16 per cent less than the year before.
Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police saw a 21 per cent rise in incidents during that period in London.
