Britons looking to boost their bank balance have just days left to cash in on TSB’s switching deal.
Anyone who opens a Spend and Save or Spend and Save Plus current account by Monday, September 8, 2025, can pocket a £100 bonus, earn up to £90 cashback in the first six months, and pick from two extra rewards.
To be eligible, customers need to open a Spend and Save or Spend and Save Plus account through the TSB Mobile Banking app, the bank’s website or in branch, and complete the move using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS).
The switch must be finalised by September 22, 2025, for the rewards to apply.
To qualify for the £100 switching bonus, customers must log into the TSB Mobile Banking app and make at least five debit card payments before September 22, 2025.
The bonus will then be paid directly into their account between October 6 and 12, 2025.
In addition, TSB is offering triple cashback for the first six months, with £15 a month available to anyone making at least 20 debit card payments in that month.
This allows customers to pocket up to £90 in cashback, which is automatically paid in the following calendar month.
If customers meet the conditions for the £100 switching bonus and make 20 debit card payments in February 2026, they will be able to choose an extra reward in March 2026.
The two options available are:
- A £120 voucher to spend at a hotel of their choice
- 12 months of activity tickets giving access to hundreds of UK attractions
Surina Somal, Everyday Banking Director at TSB, said: "It’s great to be out again offering customers more brilliant reasons to bank with TSB.
"On top of the many great features and benefits that TSB current accounts already provide, we're always looking for ways to reward new and existing customers - and our latest switching offer does just that."

Key questions answered
Do you have a money story you’d like to share? Get in touch by emailing money@gbnews.uk.
Can I switch if I’m overdrawn?
Yes — but TSB will check eligibility. If they don’t match your old overdraft limit, you’ll need to clear the balance yourself.
Will my payments move across?
Yes, Direct Debits, standing orders and incoming payments are automatically redirected for at least three years. But recurring card payments (like Netflix or Spotify) must be updated manually.

| GETTYCan I keep my old account?
Not if you use the 7-day switch. To keep it open, you’d need TSB’s slower Payment Transfer Service.
Can I switch a joint account?
Yes — but only into another joint account. You can also move a sole account into a joint one.
