With hotter days ahead, women across the UK are making the switch from their spring to summer wardrobes.
But as you dig out your favourite beachy bits for July and August, one style expert advises giving a few items the boot.
Personal style is just that - personal - so what's most important when getting dressed is that you feel great in your clothes.
However, if you are looking for a wardrobe revamp and require some expert advice, over-50s style guru Deirdre Nicholas has shared her tips.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, 50 & Fabulous with My Friend Deirdre, the fashionista revealed "how not to dress for summer" in mid-life and beyond.
Among other suggestions, she urged ladies to ditch their playsuits and rompers, especially if they display large floral prints.
Playsuits and rompers are one-piece garments that comprise a top and shorts. While the terms are often used interchangeably, an important distinction is that rompers are looser and more casual than playsuits, although according to Deirdre, neither option is ideal.
"Playsuits and rompers are best for small children - you know, toddlers," the creator claimed.
"You can look quite pretty, of course, but they are often made from synthetic materials and are very loose, so they're just not very flattering.

"They tend to just hang and not fit, giving our figures no structure or any sense of definition, which is really what we need, especially at our age."
Now, this doesn't mean that women over 50 should exclusively wear tight clothing; the expert simply explained that your outfits should maintain "some sense of shape".
As for why "big, bold, floral designs" should be avoided, Deirdre claimed that these can make you appear larger than you are.

GETTY IMAGESIn a previous conversation with GB News, the expert delved into why women over 50 should ditch overly baggy clothes.
She claimed that "totally shapeless" outfits do nothing for them, encouraging them instead to select form-fitting, flattering pieces.
"One of the key things that will indicate your age is your silhouette," Deirdre explained. "That's the initial impression that people get when they look at you.
"For example, when we see a well-dressed, modern, youthful-looking woman, she isn't normally wrapped up in hundreds of layers or draped so heavily that we can't see her body at all.
"So, a little waist definition or cinching in, particularly around the torso, is really important."
Again, this does not mean skin-tight garments are the way to go. Rather, just go for "balanced" over "baggy and saggy".
Want to elevate your wardrobe? Deirdre also shared how women can "look 10 years younger in 10 minutes" with a tactical clothing swap.
The expert did add a caveat, though: at the end of the day, fashion 'rules' are there to be broken. If you like your outfit, that's all that matters.
"I always say wear what makes you happy and what makes you feel great," she concluded.
