Property for sale? How to get the best price with 'key' tip amid the turbulent housing market
GETTY
Property prices have dropped in some parts of the UK, while others are finding it more difficult to sell.
Speaking exclusively to GB News, an expert shared the best way to help your home go for the best price.
Area director at Purplebricks Suzanne Morgan explained that how easily a home will sell depends on various factors.
She said: “While some buyers are finding the market tricky at the moment, others are finding their properties fly off the market.
"It really depends on where in the country they are and how realistic their expectations are for their selling price.
“We are hearing that some people are trying to negotiate better deals at an advanced stage of the sales process in some cases, which is obviously stressful for all concerned.
"It can leave sellers feeling backed into a corner on accepting a lower offer to stop their purchase falling through.
"Having a good local property partner in your corner is really important."
While a quick sale or high selling price cannot be guaranteed, Suzanne shared what might make a property more valuable.
The expert said presentation is "key" when it comes to selling a home.
She explained: “In terms of how to get the best price for your home, there are a few essentials.
"This includes making sure you present your property in the best possible light decoratively and in the pictures, and looking at adding value by upgrading features and maximising how you use your space.
