He bought a property in Surrey in the 1970s that has since soared in value.
Born in London, Francis did not move too far when he bought a property on the Webb Estate in Purley, near Surrey.
The singer first moved to the area in the mid 1970s and bought a large property with a three-acre garden.

Francis said he bought the home for £50,000 but said it climbed in value to around £2.75million.
