Several Salsa Rangefinder bikes have been recalled as they are unsafe to use.
The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPPS) issued a warning to Britons and told them what to do if they have purchased the affected bikes.
The OPPS explained that "the products present a risk of injuries as the brakes may not function properly".
The bikes have therefore been recalled from end users. Affected customers should contact their place of purchase.

The OPPS stated: "The affected products present a risk of injuries as it has been identified that an in-line brake specification change to include Promax brakes has resulted in the brake rotor and specified brake pad not being compatible.
"As a result, the brakes may not function properly, potentially leading to the user falling or injuring themselves.
"The affected bicycles do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. The affected products have been recalled from end users.
"Affected consumers are advised to contact their place of purchase to get the brake pads replaced on their bicycle.

The OPPS stated: "The affected products present a risk of injuries as it has been identified that during a specification change, an incorrect brake rotor was fitted to the bicycles.
"In addition to the specification change, a 1mm spacer was added to the brake caliper, which causes the brake pads to sit slightly high on the rotor. As a result, the brakes may not function properly, potentially leading to the user falling or injuring themselves.
"The affected bicycles do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. The affected products have been recalled from end users.
"Affected consumers are advised to contact their place of purchase to receive a replacement 180mm front brake rotor and have a new brake adaptor and appropriate mount installed. A 160mm rear brake rotor will also be supplied to brand match the front and rear."

The product recall comes in a series of warnings to British shoppers. Britons have been warned that a decoration sold in the UK poses a "serious chemical risk" and could "puncture" skin.
Various products from retailer Next have been pulled from shelves, as some are "contaminated with mould" and another could cause "serious damage" due to a choking hazard.
