The urgent recall was issued over an ingestion and fire hazard
The Government has issued an urgent recall of two Amazon products over risks of choking and fire.
Shoppers have been urged to refrain from using the items to avoid putting their safety at risk.
The products concerned are a magnetic toy and cordless blower which could cause choking and fire, respectively.
A statement on the Government's website reads: “The product presents a high risk of choking and injuries as it incorporates small parts with an excessively high magnetic flux level.”

A description of the product includes the following information:
The Government warned “the product presents a high risk of choking and internal injuries due to the presence of small parts that fit entirely inside of a small parts cylinder”.
It continued: “A young child may put a small part in its mouth and the parents/carers may not notice in time, so the small part could block the child’s airways.”
Britons were also warned that the magnets in the toy have an excessively high magnetic flux.
This is significantly greater than the maximum permitted by the relevant standard, the statement highlighted.
A separate recall has been issued for the Handwise Cordless Blower over a high risk of fire, according to Gov.uk.
The statement included the following information for the product:
“The product presents a high risk of fire as the transformer was of a poor build quality and the charger featured poor quality soldering with wires soldered directly to the printed circuit board,” the Government cautioned.
Such manufacturing faults could cause the gadget to heat up and ignite.

The warning comes soon after Britons were cautioned about a fan heater that could pose a safety risk.
The affected gadgets were sold online but the UK Government has warned against their use.
The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) shared: "The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the the distance between the live pin and the edge of the plug face is too short.
"Owners are recommended to stop using this product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress."
