Hugh Jackman will often give a look into his life on his Instagram account.

He has shared how he stays in incredible shape and look years younger at 54.


The Hollywood actor has shared that an intensive workout plan is a big part of his lifestyle. Exercise can help ageing appear less obvious.

Earlier this year he shared a series of videos as he explained he was training to "become Wolverine again", referencing his Marvel character.

One snap showed the star burning calories by sprinting on a treadmill.

Another showed him balancing a weight on his back while he trained his core during a moving plank, while another showed him doing leg press sets.

Hugh's workouts used a mix of weights and cardio and he showed himself doing full body movements.

The star fueled these workouts with a healthy diet and uploaded a snap of his meal prepped food, including chicken, sweet potatoes and plenty of vegetables.

The caption read: "Bulking. A day in the life. Thank you Chef Mario for helping me stay healthy and properly fed whilst … Becoming. Wolverine. Again."

Exercise and diet play a big part when it comes to looking young.

Moving regularly has a number of benefits and it could decrease the ageing process in chromosomes, according to a study published on Science Direct.

It suggested a link between regular exercise and the lengthening of telomeres. This is thought to promote longevity.
