Lidl has issued a recall over a protein bar that contains an allergen, potentially causing rashes, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting.
Available Healthy Fit’s Vegan Protein Bar has been found to contain canola rapeseed protein isolate which can cause an allergic reaction for those who are allergic to mustard.
As a result, the products have been recalled over fears that the products pose a health risk - but the item has only been recalled across Northern Ireland.
Impacting multiple batches, the unlabelled product could pose a health risk to those with a mustard allergy, a rare yet serious condition.
