Chipotle fans across the UK have something to celebrate as the popular Honey Chicken is making its comeback next week.
The menu item will return to restaurants nationwide from April 28, following what turned out to be a hugely popular first run last year.
The dish became Chipotle's best-performing limited-time offering ever in the UK market during its 2025 debut.
So what makes this dish different? The chicken is grilled fresh and marinated with smoky chipotle chillies, then finished with a drizzle of pure honey.

Hot honey has become a hit flavouring here, with online searches hitting record levels and social media fuelling the trend, especially among younger food lovers.
What sets Chipotle's version apart is the commitment to real ingredients – no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives are used in its menu.

The chain is also introducing a brand new way to enjoy the dish, with the High Protein Cup, available in the UK for the first time.
Managing director of international at Chipotle, Anat Davidzon, said: "From day one, Chipotle Honey Chicken became one of our most requested menu items in the UK.
"Its return is driven by that demand and reflects our continued focus on real ingredients, food that's freshly prepared, and the bold flavours our UK guests are embracing."
For those giving it a go for the first time, senior vice president of Culinary at Chipotle, Nevielle Panthaky, suggested trying a bowl with white rice, black beans, light chilli-corn salsa and guacamole.
