Asda launches brand-new premium meal deal and it's the cheapest on the market - full list of mains

The range will be available across Asda branches nationwide, including Asda Express locations. The collection features 17 indulgent options that draw inspiration from deli-quality recipes and trending flavours.

Think Italian-style focaccia loaded with prosciutto cotto and Milano salami, or a Chicken Parmigiana sandwich packed with British breaded chicken.

There is also a Prawn Cocktail sandwich packed with juicy king prawns for those who want a classic with a luxurious twist.

Mexican food fans are sure to love the Exceptional Beef Birria Wrap, which comes stuffed with smoky British beef, crunchy vegetables and an authentic birria dipping gravy on the side.

Two hand-finished Dragon Rolls will join the lineup for sushi fans. The Chicken Katsu version comes topped with katsu mayo, chives and crispy onions, while the Spicy Prawn roll is finished with kimchi mayo and sliced red chillies.

For those after something lighter, there's the Exceptional Pesto & Mozzarella Pasta Salad with giant spiralli pasta and fire-roasted piquillo peppers, plus a Chicken Caesar Shake-A-Salad.

Asda's new premium deal will be available at a lower price than competitors. Tesco's Finest Meal Deal costs £5.50 with a Clubcard or £6 without, while Sainsbury's charges £5.50. Co-op members pay £5.50, or £6 for non-members.

For budget-conscious shoppers, Asda's classic meal deal is still available from just £3.74, which launched successfully in 2025. That means upgrading to the Exceptional range costs only £1.26 extra.
