The new range is ideal for warm weather get-togethers, with prices starting from 59p

Aldi is bringing a taste of Spain to its shelves with the launch of its brand new Baron Amarillo Sangria Frizzante, priced at just £3.99 for a 75cl bottle.

The fizzy drink takes inspiration from traditional Sangria de Cava, blending a red wine base with citrusy orange and lemon notes for a fruity, bubbly serve.

It is perfect for those warm-weather get-togethers everyone enjoys during summer. For the best experience, pop it in the fridge and serve over ice with an orange slice.

The sangria arrives alongside a Spanish-themed food collection with prices starting from 59p.

The Spanish-inspired range gives shoppers everything they need to put together a tapas spread at home. Highlights include Gazpacho Soup at £1.49, crispy Chicharricos for £1.09, and Spanish Hand Cooked Crisps at £1.15.

Those looking to cook up something more filling can grab Spanish Style Beef & Pork Meatballs for £2.89 or Pil Pil Prawns at £3.99 for 250g.

There's also Paella Rice at £1.49 and Spanish Recipe Mixes from just 59p to help create authentic dishes.

For something sweet, fluffy Magdalenas are available at £1.69 - a perfect treat to pair with a glass of the new sangria.

But the new range isn't the only bargain in stores now. Aldi has slashed the price of its popular Prosecco Spumante DOC to just £4.69, down from £5.25 – that's an 11 per cent saving for fizz fans.

The deal runs until May 25, so there is still time to stock up for any late bank holiday celebrations.

This particular Prosecco is a customer favourite, offering gentle peach and pear flavours with hints of apple peel and lemon zest.

Starting today, wine lovers can also pick up a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc for £4.99, reduced from £8.99 – a whopping 44 per cent off as part of Aldi's Wine of the Week selection.

Looking ahead, the Ayton Merlot will drop from £6.49 to £3.99 from May 28. This offer will run until June 3.

In other Aldi news, its reformer Pilates machine returns to stores this week, available for £150. The budget supermarket's Specialbuy caused a frenzy when it launched previously, selling out incredibly quickly.
