Aldi has brought back an "amazing" snack but it won't be in stores forever

Aldi has announced the return of a beloved product. The supermarket revealed that "Aldi’s unique garlic bread crisps are back by popular demand" and shoppers are over the moon.

The supermarket has "merged two popular foods - garlic bread and crisps - to create a tasty treat". The Specially Selected Garlic Bread Crinkle Cut Crisps are back as a Specialbuy, meaning that "once they're gone, they're gone".

The Specially Selected Garlic Bread Crinkle Cut Crisps (150g), will retail for £1.09 at Aldi.

These tasty crisps went on sale last summer, and have returned to stores this week.

A Twitter user said: "They're amazing. Had them last year and it looks like they've brought them back."

Taking to Facebook, a garlic bread fan said: "I need these please." One shopper called the crisps "a dream", while another said they were "lush". A third said that the concoction sounds "amazing".

Another Aldi customer asked: "How come I am just finding out these exist?"

One said: "I think If I tried these I'd be obsessed and would need to buy every single packet they have."

A fellow shopper added: "Spotted them in my local Aldi yesterday – bought a stash of them! They should definitely be a permanent fixture."

Aldi said: "Packed full of flavour, shoppers will be hit with the delicious taste of smoky garlic, whilst experiencing the hearty crunch of Aldi’s premium Specially Selected crinkle cut style crisp.

"What’s more, the crisps also come in delicious Pizza Margherita and ‘Ndjua Spiced flavours – also both £1.09 (150g).

But shoppers must act fast if they want to get their hands on the garlic bread crisps.

The supermarket warned: "Aldi’s new range of Italian Flavoured Specially Selected Crinkle Cut Crisps are available in stores now, but shoppers will need to be quick – as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone."

On its official website, Aldi explained: "Specialbuys are unique and exciting products that you find at Aldi. From DIY, kitchenware, garden furniture to sports, camping, and everything in between."

Specialbuys are only available while stocks last, so Aldi customers will have to act quickly.

Aldi recently brought back a "delicious" £8 product and shoppers were overjoyed. Upon hearing the news, one Aldi shopper said: "I need this in my life."
