The fitness enthusiast is confident that sustainable progress beats dramatic but temporary results

A weight loss coach who successfully shed more than 90 pounds has revealed her straightforward approach for beginners looking to start their own transformation journey.

Rather than promoting complicated diet plans or intense workout regimes, she's developed what she calls a "weight loss starter pack" - a collection of simple, manageable changes that anyone can implement.

Her philosophy centres on making gradual adjustments that don't overwhelm people from the start.

"If you waste your way into weight loss, you're able to slowly train your mind," she explained, noting that this measured approach makes it far easier to maintain progress over time.

The first change she recommends tackles liquid calories that people often overlook.

"Cut out sugary drinks, juices, sodas, whatever it may be, including your drinks from Starbucks," she advised, noting how these beverages pack far more calories than most people realise.

She's equally firm about eliminating unnecessary sugars from condiments and toppings.

"Sauces are another thing people tend to slip up on because they don't measure them and they end up consuming double the calories that they think they're consuming," she warned.

Instead of completely avoiding flavour, she suggested switching to sugar-free alternatives, as these small substitutions can make a massive difference without leaving people feeling deprived.

Hydration plays an equally vital role in her strategy. "You need to be chugging it from the second you wake up to the second you go to sleep," she says about water intake.

Making protein a priority at every meal represents her final key recommendation. "Don't over-complicate this," she stresses, offering practical suggestions like stirring protein powder into morning oatmeal.

She explained that "protein is a macronutrient that keeps you fuller for the longest," helping to naturally reduce overall food intake.

Exercise tips

Daily movement forms another cornerstone of her approach, as Gabbie pointed out that many people overestimate their activity levels.

"Get up and get 10,000 steps a day," she urged viewers. She recommended grabbing some headphones, putting on a favourite podcast or playlist, and heading out for a walk.

She's also adamant about proper rest, recommending eight to ten hours nightly.

"A lack of sleep actually hinders your weight loss because your body doesn't know how to properly function when it doesn't have enough rest," she warned.

Some might worry these changes seem too modest, but she believes that's precisely their strength.

"To some people, that may sound like you're not doing enough," she acknowledged, before explaining how this gentle approach helps create lasting habits.

"This will make it so much easier in the long run to stick to your weight loss journey."
