One of the newest car brands in the UK is looking to accelerate its progress and quickly become one of the nation's most popular manufacturers.
Chinese automaker Xpeng said it was looking at 2026 with "real momentum" with new vehicles hitting the market and an expansion of its retail network.
The electric vehicle manufacturer will launch the new-generation G6 in 2026, with drivers able to get their hands on the premium SUV soon.
Xpeng, which is headquartered in Guangzhou, has not yet revealed when the G6 will officially launch, but has touted it as an "advancement" in the brand's engineering, technology and design capabilities.

The new G6 has been refined for European roads and features next-generation 800v charging technology, which is designed for use at the fastest public chargers available.
Three variants are available for pre-order, including the Standard Range, Long Range and Performance models.
The Long Range features a 326-mile battery range, a 0-62mph time of just 6.7 seconds and a staggering 1,374 litre boot space capacity when the rear seats are folded.
The impressive Next-Gen 5C battery can charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in just 12 minutes, placing it firmly amongst the fastest charging EVs on the market.

Xpeng has also backed its new design language with sharper details, as well as a refined cabin interior.
Jonny Miller, sales director at Xpeng UK, said: "As we move into 2026, our focus is firmly on growth - the growth of our network, growth of our customer base, and growth of Xpeng's presence on UK roads.
"With the new G6 on the horizon and our retailer network expanding, 2026 will be the year Xpeng UK accelerates its growth."
The brand highlighted that customer feedback had been "overwhelmingly positive", describing itself as "one of the most compelling new entrants in the UK market".

Xpeng will expand its retail and aftersales presence across the UK over the next 12 months, which will deliver a "digital-first" and "technology-forward" experience.
It first launched in the UK in February and has already sold hundreds of vehicles in the first few months of operation.
Motorists were also given a glimpse of the Xpeng P7+ at the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year.
The UK debut of the P7+ was featured alongside the G6, as well as the Xpeng IRON humanoid robot.
