Chinese newcomer Lepas has confirmed plans to launch three new models over the next 12 months in the UK as part of a major market offensive.
Lepas has announced its UK Driving Manifesto, which aims to focus on the "elegant pursuit of motion" and how everything included in the car should have a purpose.
Any Lepas vehicle launching in the UK will be designed by its UK-based engineering team to align with demands from motorists.
It noted that its vehicles would be able to "move stealthily and gracefully through town traffic", while being powerful and quick enough to deal with motorway driving.
Lepas will start with its flagship L8 in the third quarter of this year, with further product details expected to be released in the near future.
The introduction of the L8 will quickly be followed by the L6 and the L4, with the latter being displayed at the Beijing Motor Show recently.
All vehicles form part of Lepas' New Energy Vehicle strategy, ranging from compact cars to large SUVs, under the "Elegance Moves the World" theme.
Gary Lan, CEO of Lepas UK, said the debut of the Lepas L4 electric vehicle was a "significant moment" for the brand as it continues to accelerate around the world.

He added that the UK would play a "key role" in Lepas' global strategy as it sets itself apart from legacy manufacturers and other newcomers to the market.
The Lepas L6 made its European debut at Milan Design Week, with a Super Hybrid powertrain and a battery electric variant.
The Super Hybrid combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with an electric motor to provide a total range of around 700 miles.
Drivers opting for the electric Lepas L6 in late 2026 will be greeted with a 67kWh battery capable of delivering 270 miles on a single charge.

Mr Lan said: "It is well known that UK drivers are among the most discerning in the world. The absolute value they place on strong driving dynamics is something we recognise as of great importance.
"We feel that the Lepas UK Driving Manifesto will address any concerns that keen UK drivers have regarding the satisfaction and enjoyment of driving a Lepas vehicle on British roads."
He noted that the new UK Driving Manifesto would allow motorists to "feel at one" with their vehicles through suitable design, impressive technology and expected road performance.
Lepas, which is a blend of "leopard" and "passion", is part of the Chery International umbrella, alongside Chery, Jaecoo and Omoda.

All four of these brands have made a huge impact on the UK, despite debuting on the UK market very recently.
Jaecoo, in particular, has seen strong results since it joined the UK market, with the Jaecoo 7 quickly becoming the best-selling model in March with more than 10,000 sales.
Mr Lan concluded, saying: "Our ambition is not just to answer the desire that UK drivers have for a car with power, pace and performance, but to do it in such a way that Lepas is intrinsically linked to the concept of 'loving driving'.
"A car which is inspired by the elegance, balance, precision and dynamism of the leopard is a natural match for a driver who values the idea of 'taking the long way home' simply to enjoy the driving dynamics of their car."
