British icon Mini has confirmed the launch of new petrol vehicles following the success of its electric models, including a huge collaboration with one of the UK's most popular designers.
Mini has introduced new variants of its Paul Smith Editions with petrol powertrains, alongside a host of other range updates.
It said it was building on the success of the Mini Cooper Electric Paul Smith Edition, with a petrol variant "marking the next step of the celebrated partnership".
These models will include the Mini Cooper 3-door, Mini Cooper 5-door and Mini Cooper Convertible, with the Paul Smith Edition available in C and S models.
Drivers will be able to select from three exterior paint choices, including Paul Smith Edition-exclusive colours of Statement Grey and Inspired White, and the existing Midnight Black.
Motorists can also choose a Nottingham Green roof colour for the Cooper 3-door and 5-door, or a Union Jack soft-top roof with the Convertible.
Mini explained the design choices behind the Paul Smith Editions, citing the iconic fashion designer's philosophy of "classic with a twist".
UK pricing for the petrol Mini Paul Smith Edition starts from £31,285 for the C and £32,335 for the S engine model.
