Mask-wearing Hollywood actress gloats about not getting Covid at Golden Globes after virus outbreak

Jessica Chastain has celebrated not getting Covid at this year’s Golden Globes after the event saw multiple attendees catching the virus.
The Hollywood actress who has appeared in blockbuster hits such as The Good Nurse and Interstellar attended the awards in a silver gown with a matching face mask.
The star shared video footage of her getting ready and wearing the mask.

Pictures show the star arriving on the red carpet and posing for pictures with the mask on.
She also shared a video to her own social media which she captioned: “When the mask matches the dress”.
The post was commented on by the official Golden Globes account who wrote “It’s the matching glam mask for us”.
After the event a fan posted on Twitter “And you know who didn’t get Covid at the Golden Globes?” with an image of Chastain which she quote tweeted it, writing “Phew!”.
Several celebrities have pulled out of the Critics Choice Awards.

Jamie Lee Curtis revealed that she was pulling out of the Critics Choice Awards after testing positive for Covid.
She shared the news with fans on social media, writing “Sadly, this head cheerleader is not going to be at all the weekend festivities cheering on her friends and colleagues. Life on life’s terms. I’m glad that there are all these home tests available so that I didn’t go to the [American Film Institute] lunch and spread my germs”, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Others who weren’t in attendance included Brendan Gleeson, Colin Farrell and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Pfeiffer wrote: “I’m so sorry to be missing the Critics Choice Awards today. Yep, Covid. Especially disappointed not to witness Jeff Bridges receive his Lifetime Achievement Award,”
