Victoria Beckham fans have come out swinging for the former Spice Girl after her son, Brooklyn Beckham, unleashed a string of allegations against his family in a bombshell social media rant.
Brooklyn declared he has no desire to repair his fractured relationship with his parents in a lengthy six-part message to his Instagram Stories, ending years of public silence about the widely speculated family rift.
"I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life," he wrote.
The eldest Beckham child stated he had attempted to keep matters private but felt compelled to speak out after his parents and their representatives continued briefing the press.

Brooklyn Beckham torched any remaining ties with his family on social media
|Speculation about tensions within the famous family intensified following Brooklyn's 2022 wedding to American actress Nicola Peltz Beckham, 31.
Brooklyn alleged that in the weeks leading up to his nuptials, his parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe him into relinquishing the rights to his name.
"They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since," he claimed.
The budding photographer also accused his mother of pulling out of designing Nicola's wedding gown at the eleventh hour, leaving his bride scrambling to find an alternative dress.

Lady Victoria Beckham and Sir David Beckham are yet to address the claims
| PAHe further alleged that the evening before the ceremony, family members told him Nicola was "not blood" and "not family."
Victoria reportedly labelled him "evil" during wedding planning because the couple chose to seat their grandmothers at their table.
However, in what has proven to be one of the most contentious claims of the statement, Brooklyn alleged his mother "hijacked" what was meant to be his romantic first dance with Nicola in front of 500 wedding guests.
He alleged that singer Marc Anthony called him to the stage where Victoria was waiting instead of his wife, and that she danced "very inappropriately" on him.

"I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life," he wrote, adding that the couple renewed their vows to create happier memories.
In the hours after the statement, however, several fans have disputed Brooklyn's comments and say they have evidence to prove his wedding dance claims wrong.
On X, a number of Beckham family fans have pointed out that Vogue was the publication given exclusive access to the pair's nuptials.
In an article about the big day, Vogue included a snap of Brooklyn and Nicola's first dance. The caption read: "South African singer Lloyiso performed Elvis Presley’s 'Can’t Help Falling in Love' for the couple’s first dance."

Nicola is seen beaming from ear to ear in the snap while wrapping her hand around her new husband. Brooklyn's face cannot be seen in Vogue's snap.
Using the Vogue excerpt as supposed proof that it contradicts Brooklyn's point, one X user penned: "Hmmm @brooklynbeckham don't see @victoriabeckham dancing on you there for your first dance buddy..." (sic)
A second also spotted the Vogue pictures when responding to comedian David Baddiel's opinions on the saga.
"I have read Brooklyn Beckham's statement about his parents, and remain confused about the notion of his mother dancing *on* him," Mr Baddiel penned, which prompted another Beckham fan to argue: "She didn’t. Vogue was there."

Neither David nor Victoria has spoken publicly to address their son's statement and allegations.
Elsewhere in his rant, Brooklyn claimed he and his husband spent a week waiting in their hotel room attempting to arrange private time with his father, who allegedly refused all requests unless it was at his party with cameras present.
When David finally agreed to meet, Nicola was reportedly excluded.

Brooklyn accused his parents of manipulating media narratives throughout his entire life, describing their social media posts and family events as "performative" and "inauthentic."
He claimed his brothers were directed to attack him online before blocking him last summer, and that his wife had been "consistently disrespected" by the family.
"The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life," he stated.
Brooklyn revealed he had suffered from overwhelming anxiety that has since disappeared after distancing himself from his family.
"My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family," he concluded.
