Dr Uchenna Okoye died at the age of 53 on September 15

A close friend of This Morning's resident dental expert Dr Uchenna Okoye has spoken out on her pal of 20 years' death.

The doctor died on Friday, September 15 aged 53 and tributes from a number of her co-stars have poured out since.

Mars Webb, who's been described as a "confidante of more than 20 years", has now stated Okoye died after collapsing at her London home.

However, Webb has stated that the family is still awaiting the coroner's report for the specific details of what happened.

Webb told the Daily Mail: "There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. She was a happy, healthy, and busy person, with no apparent health problems.

"Her passing has come as a total shock to everybody - it came totally out of the blue but sadly, this does sometimes happen to healthy people who can suddenly pass without explanation.
