The Yorkshire Shepherdesses daughter is rarely seen on TV despite famous parents

Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen was given a special shoutout by her daughter Raven Owen on her Instagram account – paying tribute to Mother’s Day.

Owen’s eldest daughter was first introduced to the world of fame when she was just 17-years-old, starring in the Channel 5 hit, Our Yorkshire Farm.

The now 22-year-old only appeared in one episode, but that didn’t stop fans of the show wanting to follow her on social media and see what she got up to outside the world of farming.

The eldest child of nine doesn’t often give major insights into her relationship with her parents, but recently paid tribute to her mother.

Posting on her Instagram story yesterday, she shared an image of herself and Owen and said: “Happy Mother’s Day @yorkshireshepherdess Love you xoxo.”

Owen made her first TV appearance last week since taking step back from the spotlight - ever since her Channel 5 show came to an end in 2022.

Owen even shut the doors to her farm – Ravenseat – last summer, and issued a simple statement: “Ravenseat Farm is closed to visitors until further notice, so, unfortunately, we are not serving cream teas. Thank you for your understanding. Amanda."

However, despite Our Yorkshire Farm no longer being on our screens, there have been rumours that Owen is eyeing up a return to screens on Channel 4 – and it could see her team back up with her ex-husband.

She recently tested the water with her TV return, as she made a surprise appearance on Channel 5’s A Yorkshire Farm alongside Helen Skelton.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess was keen to learn about foraging and expressed her joy to be back in the wild and in front of the cameras.

She told viewers: “Well, I’m really excited to learn about foraging because, of course, it food for free. And I’m really fascinated to know what I can find in the woods.”

Owen kept some details about her marriage breakdown quiet, and admitted: “There was nobody involved in the break-up with Clive and I don't understand why this is being suggested.

“We are co-parenting and the whole family is very happy… I was just with Clive this morning… There's absolutely no problem between us."

Adding to her statement she made to the MailOnline, she told Lorraine Kelly: “Life carries on, on the farm, obviously there is a whole [range] of things to do.

“I have nine children, a whole heap of animals, and we are just working away the same as before because, at the end of the day, our priority remains to keep everything going.

“There you go, that’s how it is. I felt it needed to be put out there.”
