GB News presenter Patrick Christys has shared a heartfelt tribute to partner Emily Carver ahead of her first Mother’s Day as a parent.
The broadcaster posted a series of family photos to Instagram alongside a message praising Emily for her role as a mother to their baby son, George.
Captioning the images, Patrick wrote: “An early happy first Mother’s Day to @carveremily – thank you for being such an amazing mum to George, and for being the glue that holds our little family together."
He added jokingly: “Apologies about the soppy post."

GB News colleague Lizzie Cundy was among those to respond, writing: “Awww,” followed by two love heart emojis.
Viewers also flooded the comments with supportive messages about the family.
“Lovely family and definitely some well deserved time off for both of you to chill with George,” one fan wrote.

The couple welcomed their first child together last year, announcing the arrival of their son, George Alexander Peter Christys, in September.
Sharing the news at the time, Mr Christys revealed their baby boy had been born in the early hours of the morning.
“He’s a very happy, healthy, much loved little boy and the beautiful Emily Carver was amazing throughout,” he wrote on social media.
The birth prompted an outpouring of congratulations from viewers and colleagues across the GB News family.

Earlier this year she delighted fans by confirming she would be back on screens temporarily to stand in for Michael Portillo during his Sunday morning programme.
At the time, she told followers she was “very excited” to return, after months away from her regular presenting duties.
The couple have continued sharing occasional glimpses of life as new parents with their followers.
