Jeremy Clarkson has welcomed a new arrival onto his Oxfordshire farm after what he described as a “late night” waiting for the birth.

The Clarkson’s Farm star shared a photo on Instagram on Friday showing a newborn calf resting in straw shortly after being born.

“Congratulations. Always a miracle,” one user wrote, while another added: “Omg this is like the best thing I’ve seen today!”

Others used the moment to share their enthusiasm for the next instalment of his hit Amazon Prime series.

“Another good news story,” one fan commented, while another said: “Beautiful – can’t wait for season five.”

The presenter’s partner, Lisa Hogan, also shared the joyful moment with followers a day later.

Posting a video to Instagram on Saturday, Ms Hogan filmed the newborn calf standing close to its mother in the farmyard.

“This is what arrived last night,” she said in the clip.

“She’s so gorgeous and healthy and beautiful.”

Ms Hogan then panned the camera towards the calf’s mother, adding: “Her mother is doing really well. She’s a super mum.”

She also revealed the calf marks the beginning of a new farming season at Diddly Squat.

“The first of 2026,” she told viewers.

The clip prompted another wave of delighted responses from followers.

“What will his name be?” one commenter asked, while another wrote: “Oh how gorgeous!!”

Others were struck by the calf’s size, with one viewer remarking: “That looks huge! I thought it was the parent at first.”

“Beautiful – all the very best for the coming days and months,” another fan added.

Mr Clarkson has frequently shared glimpses of life on the farm with followers since launching Clarkson’s Farm in 2021, documenting both the challenges and the joys of rural life.

The Amazon Prime series has followed the presenter’s attempts to run the 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds, with livestock births often proving some of the most emotional moments on the show.

The delightful story comes just days after Mr Clarkson broke his silence over a controversial AI-generated video depicting him physically attacking Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The fabricated clip, which circulated on social media, appeared to show the television presenter throwing punches at the Prime Minister outside his Oxfordshire pub, The Farmer’s Dog.

Responding on X, Mr Clarkson distanced himself from the fan account that posted the footage.

“That site is a menace. And they’ve blocked me,” he wrote.

The video had prompted widespread criticism online, with Labour MP Chris Bryant among those urging the account to delete it, warning about the dangers of content that appears to glorify violence.
