GB News fan-favourite Patrick Christys has criticised Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid following her confrontational interview with Robert Jenrick about his fare-dodging video on the London Underground.
The GB News host questioned whether Reid's approach was informed by personal experience of public transport, suggesting she may be out of touch with the reality faced by ordinary commuters.
Patrick's comments came after Reid's heated exchange with the Shadow Justice Secretary on Monday's programme, where she challenged Jenrick over his failure to report a knife-carrying claim to police.
The controversy stems from a video filmed by Jenrick at Stratford station last week, where the Shadow Justice Secretary confronted alleged fare dodgers on the London Underground.

In the footage, Jenrick approached several people whom he accused of breaking the law by not paying their fares. During one particularly tense encounter captured on film, a man on an escalator claimed he was carrying a knife, appearing to use this as a deterrent to stop Jenrick from questioning him further.
The video, which showed Jenrick walking around tube stations and confronting commuters, quickly went viral and sparked widespread debate.
The incident involving the knife claim became a focal point of criticism, particularly after it emerged that Jenrick had not reported the matter to police despite being told directly that someone was potentially carrying a blade on public transport.
During Monday's Good Morning Britain interview, Reid launched into a fierce interrogation of Jenrick about his failure to alert authorities after being told someone was carrying a knife.

"Somebody told you that they were carrying a knife on the London Underground and you didn't report it to the police," Reid said, expressing her outrage at his inaction.
She escalated her concern, adding: "I travel on the tube, my kids travel on the tube, and someone has just told you, a former shadow minister, someone who is concerned about policing and obeying the law, you're worried about fare-dodging, I'm worried about people carrying knives, and you didn't report it to the police?"
Jenrick defended his decision not to contact authorities, insisting: "It's not about me."
Reid wasn't having any of it, sharply criticising him: "I don't want to be disrespectful to you, you made it all about you."
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
She concluded with a pointed remark: "The video was literally all about you -- it's you walking around tube stations, confronting people. So to say that you didn't report what was said to you because you're saying you didn't want to make it all about you is disingenuous."
Reposting the clip on X, Patrick was less than impressed with Reid's manner, as he wrote: "Does Susanna Reid ever get the tube? I believe she is driven to and from work every day.
"I wonder if she ever comes into contact with the kind of rampant lawlessness that the rest of us do?"
Patrick's wife and fellow GB News presenter Emily Carver also took umbrage at the interview clip on her social media page. "They seem to really despise him! Odd interview," she penned alongside the footage.

And Patrick and Emily were far from alone in their criticism of Reid and her co-host Ed Balls for their approach to the interview with Jenrick.
After the clip was shared to X, the ITV GMB account found itself flooded with complaints from perturbed viewers who felt the hosts' interview techniques left plenty to be desired.
"He did a great job, this is just left wing bias in this interview," one viewer hit out before a second remarked: "And this interview was all about you Susanna."
A third echoed: "To be fair Susannah, that was a bit disrespectful. Not sure how many people have the courage to call out fare dodgers in public like this. Well done @RobertJenrick imo."

And a fourth raged: "This did not discuss the issue it undermined the poor guy and he had serious points, proper statistics and anyone who uses the underground or train system has seen people slipping through the turnstiles or being asked for a ticket on the train and being asked to get off at the next stop...
"This show has degraded so badly. No wonder hardly anyone watches these shows now."
Reid came under fire from another: "@susannareid100 sounds like she has more of a problem with Robert highlighting the issue, than the issue itself. This was all about YOU Susanna."
And a sixth viewer fumed: "This was diabolical tv. Aggressive and nasty, unpleasant to watch (and I’m no fan of Robert Jenrick). Exceedingly unprofessional and I certainly won’t bother watching again." (sic)
