American singer-songwriter Oliver Tree has died at the age of 32 following a helicopter collision in Brazil, according to numerous US outlets.
The musician, whose full name was Oliver Tree Nickell, is said to have been confirmed as one of six people killed when two aircraft struck each other above Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning.
Brazilian authorities are believed to have identified Mr Tree among the victims after the incident occurred in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, a coastal neighbourhood in the city's western zone.
The other passengers who perished alongside the singer were Lucas Vignale, Lucas Brito Chaves, Gaspar Prim, and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac.

According to reports from Brazilian media, one helicopter was carrying five people whilst the second aircraft had only its pilot aboard.
The collision sent both helicopters plummeting into the neighbourhood below, with one crashing onto premises housing electric vehicles.
The impact ignited a substantial blaze, with approximately 20 cars catching fire and thick smoke billowing over the residential area.
Brazil's Air Force has dispatched investigators from the Centre for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents to examine the scene and gather evidence.

The National Civil Aviation Agency confirmed it was also looking into the status of both aircraft and their pilots.
Mr Tree first rose to prominence in 2010, initially performing under the moniker Tree and collaborating with electronic acts including Skrillex and Zeds Dead.
His breakthrough came in 2017 when the track When I'm Down achieved viral success online, leading to a deal with Atlantic Records.
His 2020 debut studio album, Ugly Is Beautiful, reached the top of two Billboard charts and earned gold certification in the United States. The record spawned the platinum-selling single Life Goes On.

Beyond his music, Mr Tree became recognised for his distinctive bowl haircut and oversized trousers, cultivating an eccentric comedic persona across social media platforms.
Mr Tree had been touring South America as part of his ambitious global concert schedule, billed as The World's First World Tour.
He performed his most recent show in São Paulo on June 6 before travelling to Rio de Janeiro.
The 32-year-old had been due to resume performances next month, with the European leg of his tour set to commence in Lisbon on July 13. Further dates had been arranged across the United States, Australia and China.

Brazilian aviation authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, which occurred at approximately 9am local time.
Emergency services spent Sunday afternoon cordoning off the crash site and removing debris.
