Brooklyn Beckham's assertion that his mother Victoria withdrew from creating Nicola Peltz's wedding gown at the last minute appears to conflict with earlier statements from the bride's stylist.
In his explosive Instagram statement released last night, the 26-year-old claimed: "My mum cancelled making Nicola's dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress."
However, Hollywood stylist Leslie Fremar, who works with stars including Demi Moore and Charlize Theron, told Vogue that the Valentino dress Nicola ultimately wore took a full year to create.
Ms Fremar made two visits to Valentino's Rome headquarters to work with creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, followed by two fittings with Nicola in the United States.

Nicola addressed the dress controversy in multiple interviews following the April 2022 wedding, offering her own account of events.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, she insisted there was no family feud and expressed genuine enthusiasm about wearing Victoria's creation.
"I really, really wanted to wear it, and I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn's mum got to make that for me," she said.

She subsequently travelled to Valentino's atelier to begin work on her replacement gown.
Brooklyn's statement extended far beyond the dress dispute, levelling numerous accusations against his parents regarding their behaviour around the wedding.

The eldest Beckham son also claimed his mother took over what was meant to be his first dance with his bride.

"I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life," he declared.
