Nicola Peltz Beckham has shared a heartfelt tribute to her mother on Instagram, days after she and her husband failed to publicly acknowledge Victoria Beckham’s 52nd birthday.
The actress posted a handwritten message dedicated to her mother, Claudia Heffner, writing: “Mom, my favourite part is knowing that I'm a little piece of you.”
The timing of the post has raised eyebrows, with Nicola and Brooklyn remaining silent on social media when Victoria marked her birthday in Miami on April 17.
While David Beckham and the couple’s siblings, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, all shared public tributes, Brooklyn was notably absent.

The 27-year-old accused Sir David and Lady Victoria of attempting to damage his marriage since before his 2022 wedding, alleging the interference had been ongoing.
“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote.
“The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”

He further claimed his parents had planted false stories in the media to maintain their public image, adding: “But I believe the truth always comes out.”
Brooklyn also detailed grievances from his wedding day in Florida, including claims his mother withdrew from designing Nicola's wedding dress at the last moment, prompting a rushed search for an alternative.
He additionally alleged his mother took over what was meant to be his first dance with his wife.
The budding chef wrote: “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead."

The couple have since expressed a desire to renew their vows in order to create happier memories of their wedding day.
Victoria addressed the estrangement for the first time last week in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, though she did not mention her son by name.
“I think that we've always... we love our children so much."
She continued: "We've always tried to be the best parents that we can be."
The fashion designer added that protecting her children had always been her priority.

“All we've ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that's all I really want to say about it.”
Sir David also appeared to allude to the situation during an appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he noted that children can make mistakes on social media and should be allowed to do so.
