Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is back on Netflix’s Most Watched thanks to her new movie, Damsel.
The film has officially become the streaming platform’s most-watched flick of 2024, however viewers don’t seem to be full of compliments after tuning in.
The fantasy adventure film has attracted an impressive 35.5 million views according to Dexerto, but the feedback surrounding the film is less promising.
Many confused viewers have taken to X to express their disappointment over the film or point out plots they believed made no sense.
One wrote: “DAMSEL: A decent idea but way too much stupid in it to make it any more than mediocre. It relies too much on luck to get you immersed & sadly the creature design is truly awful & makes no sense.
"Big dragons need BIG wings. Also horizontal-slit eyes are goats not dragons.”

“The last act of Damsel just makes no sense to me. I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t seen it. But I would have played up the cat and mouse and let some of the other stuff fall off,” another chimed.
A fourth remarked: “Watched Damsel, it was bad! The Dragon was nice FX. When I saw that MBB was an executive producer at the beginning, I was like Uh Oh! Also, how does Dragon Fire hurt the Dragon that shoots it? Makes no sense.”

“Love Millie, but that movie, Damsel, makes no sense. How can you tell me a dragon was burnt?” another asked.
“I've watched Netflix's Damsel. I'm gonna be honest I wanted this to be good but it wasn't. 2 out of 10 on the Sheep Scale. Bad all around,” someone else shared.
“I know Netflix is happy that writers strike is over because Damsel was TERRIBLE,” another complained.
Others disagreed though, with another viewer praising the film, writing: “Rating this netflix movie: Damsel 10 outta 10.”
