Nick Endacott-Gibb, the 57-year-old secret son of late Bee Gees musician Maurice Gibb, has disputed claims made by singer Lulu regarding when he was conceived.
The Shout singer suggested on a recent podcast that Maurice may have fathered a child during their marriage, but Nick maintains the timeline does not add up.
He told the Mirror: "I was born in April 1968, conceived in August 1967. Lulu and Maurice weren't married until 1969, after what has been described for decades as a 'whirlwind' romance."
Nick, who resides in Hove, East Sussex, pointedly questioned whether Lulu was even with Maurice at the time of his conception, noting: "Two years does not a whirlwind make."

Nick was born in Woolwich, south London, and placed in a children's home before being adopted at 18 months by Peggy, a secretary, and David, a chartered quantity surveyor. He enjoyed a stable upbringing in East Sussex alongside three siblings.
His adoptive parents, both now deceased, encouraged his search for his biological family, which he first attempted in his twenties before abandoning the effort and resuming in 2001.
"I was getting older and starting to wonder about my medical history," he explained.
After registering on the Missing You database, Nick reconnected with his birth mother, Patti Nolder, a former music studio manager, in 2003.

| GETTYShe initially identified his father as Chris Andrews from the sixties psych-pop group The Fleur de Lys, but DNA testing ruled this out, leaving Nick's paternity unresolved once more.
The breakthrough came when Patti's sister revealed that Maurice was actually Nick's father. The Bee Gees star had died from a cardiac arrest in 2003, meaning Nick would never meet him.
In 2019, Nick uploaded his DNA profile to an ancestry website, where it matched completely with Maurice's son Adam, confirming they were half-brothers.
"I don't know why it was on there, but the DNA proved that I was 100 percent his half-brother," Nick said.

Further genetic matches with Gibb family cousins followed, and the brothers' elder sister, Lesley Evans, reached out to Nick, connecting him with her daughter Debbie, also a singer based in New South Wales, Australia.
The pair have since formed a musical collaboration called Cousins Gibb and recorded their own rendition of Tragedy.
Lulu's comments emerged during her appearance on the Louis Theroux podcast, where the host raised Maurice's acknowledged affair with Barbara Windsor during their relationship.
"I think he's got a son. It might have happened when we were married," Lulu said, explaining she had only recently discovered the information.

When Mr Theroux pressed her on whether the conception occurred while she was with Maurice, she replied: "I didn't do the math because it wasn't that important."
Asked why the timing was irrelevant to her, the 77-year-old simply responded: "Today, c'est la vie."
Lulu and Maurice wed on February 18, 1969, following their meeting on Top of the Pops, divorcing in 1973. The Bee Gees went on to sell over 200 million records globally.
