Kaye Adams has broken her silence after losing her £155,000-a-year role at BBC Radio Scotland following a disciplinary investigation into her conduct.
The 63-year-old broadcaster was removed from her morning programme last October after an internal complaint was lodged.
The BBC later confirmed she would not return to the role following a five-month probe.
The investigation upheld three misconduct complaints against the Scottish presenter.

Ms Adams had initially remained silent following her departure from the broadcaster, but addressed the situation publicly this week in a statement shared on Instagram.
She dismissed the accusations surrounding her behaviour as “malicious stories”.

She also denied using offensive language towards women, stating: “I categorically deny using a misogynistic slur 14 years ago, and I'm horrified at its invention more than a decade later.
"It is absolutely not a word I would have used.”
Addressing a further claim that she threw a pencil whilst alone in a studio, the Loose Women host responded simply: “Words fail me.”

“I am heartbroken that 15 years of hard work and dedication to BBC Scotland is being reduced to this,” she said.
Ms Adams explained she had originally attempted to maintain “a dignified silence” following her departure.
However, she said the continued allegations had forced her to speak publicly.
The presenter wrote: “These attacks on my character are now so persistent, they can no longer go unchallenged."
She also thanked colleagues across the BBC who had privately supported her, expressing gratitude to “friends and colleagues, junior and senior, across the corporation who have sent their good wishes and support”.
Ms Adams began presenting on BBC Radio Scotland in 2010 and spent 15 years hosting the station’s morning programme.
Beyond radio, she is still a familiar face on ITV’s Loose Women and has appeared on programmes including Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity MasterChef.

Carol McGiffin described her as a “consummate professional”, while Jane Moore, Nadia Sawalha and Denise Welch have all voiced support, with ITV continuing to keep her as a regular panellist on the show.
A BBC spokesman told GB News: 'We don't comment on individual cases. We do take any reports concerning our values not being upheld extremely seriously, and when required have robust processes in place to investigate.'
