The Strictly Come Dancing star exclusively shared who her unlikely 'dream' partner would be

Jowita Przystał has starred on BBC Strictly Come Dancing since 2021, and has even lifted the Glitterball Trophy alongside wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin.

However, after bowing out of the show early last year alongside Ross King, Przystal is setting her sights ahead to which celebrity she may land next in the hopes of regaining her spot as champion pro.

As well as Mr Yassin and Mr King, Ms Przystal's CV has seen partnership Jody Cundy and Pete Wicks.

Opening up about her future, she shared with GB News at this week's TV Choice Awards who her ideal celebrity partner would be.

Her ideal partner would be none other than Mr Bean star Rowan Atkinson.

When asked who she would love to be paired with on the show, she told GB News: "Rowan Atkinson - I think he'd be hilarious.

"He'd be perfect. I know he's got the moves, and I really would love to meet him."

The 71-year-old actor and comedian is best-known for his role as the hapless Mr Bean from the classic sitcom.

The original series of the comedy ran from 1990 to 1995, with Mr Atkinson reprising the role in an animated spin-off from 2002 to 2004.

Fellow fans of the comedian could be in luck if Ms Przystał's hopes are realised, but there will be a significant wait for any updates, with the show's official line-up usually announced between August and September.

Ms Przystał also delved into the show's future amid fan concern that it might lose part of its charm without Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.

The presenters confirmed last year that the 2025 series would be their last, leaving fans stunned.

"I think everyone was (shocked), to be honest," Ms Przystał admitted to GB News as she recalled hearing the news of their departures.

"I was really shocked, and I will miss them so much because I don't know anything else - when I joined the show, it was already Tess and Claudia.

"So to have someone else, it will be different, yeah, but good. I think changes are necessary, and I'm a big fan of Tess and Claudia, and I just wish them all the best for whatever the upcoming things are in their lives."

When asked who she thinks might replace the pair, she shared: "To be honest with you, I think it will be already very stressful for whoever is going to take that, it's big shoes to fill."

However, she assured the future presenter or presenters that they'd receive nothing less than the warmest of welcomes.

"No matter who it's going to be, we're going to welcome them, and he or she, and however many people - because that's also a thing that we don't know - we're going to welcome them, and they're going to be a part of the Strictly family," the dancer enthused.

On the impact the exits might have on the show, she continued: "I think definitely it won't be the same, but I do believe just because it's going to be different, it doesn't mean it's going to be worse or better. It's just going to be different.

"And Strictly is all about that love of dance, and you know about ballroom and Latin, the beautiful connection between people."
