Joel Dommett paid tribute to his Celebrity Sabotage co-stars and their “punishing” schedule whilst filming for the latest ITV prank series
Celebrity Sabotage is a hidden-camera reality game show with a twist: contestants believe they’re competing in a polished business competition called The Applicant, led by entrepreneur Sara Davies.
Unbeknownst to them, the entire setup is being secretly undermined by a team of celebrities—Joel Dommett, Judi Love, Sam Thompson, and GK Barry—who are tasked with causing as much disruption as possible without being detected.
Operating from a concealed headquarters, the celebrity saboteurs execute a series of mischievous challenges, from derailing tasks to interfering with footage, all in an effort to grow a hidden prize fund.

The more chaos they successfully create, the larger the reward becomes. At the end of each episode, the total prize is revealed and awarded to the unsuspecting contestants.
In the opening episode, guest saboteur Jo Brand joins the team as they wreak havoc on activities such as wedding video shoots and wellness sessions.
In essence, while contestants think they’re battling it out in a serious business competition, the real game is happening behind the scenes—where celebrities are secretly engineering chaos to boost the contestants’ winnings.
Mr Dommett paid tribute to his co-stars and what it was like working with them during their gruelling filming schedule.

He expressed: “I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better set of people. We all got on so well, we really gelled as a group and I genuinely feel that we are all going to be friends forever.
“It's a really great shared experience. I genuinely love them. They are very funny, really good people.
“It was a punishing filming schedule at times as we had to ensure that we got it all done because it was such a big show and all of them were so professional and so funny.
“Everyone put in the same level of effort. It was really great.”

Touching on his relationship with co-star Mr Thompson, and working with Ms Love and GK for the first time, he added: “I’ve worked with Judi a lot before with stand up.
“And I worked with Sam lots over the past year but this was my first proper time working with GK!
“Honestly such a lovely bunch. We spent a LOT of time in Mission HQ and it would have been a much less enjoyable job if it was with anyone UN-fun!”

"Joel and Judi were the mum and dad of the group and me and GK were like the annoying kids – but the dynamic between us worked perfectly. Me and GK bonded so much – she is brilliant, very funny.
"Joel is my TV big brother – such a great guy and Judi is a legend – honestly they’re all so brilliant.
