The Clarkson's Farm star talked about the impact of Mounjaro

Jeremy Clarkson has shed an impressive three stone over the past six months with the help of weight-loss medication Mounjaro, which he describes as "an astonishing drug."

The 65-year-old presenter revealed the dramatic transformation has meant he needed an entirely new wardrobe, with even his shoes no longer fitting properly.

"I've had to have completely new outfits, because even my feet have shrunk," Mr Clarkson said.

"The shoes I was wearing last year are falling off me as I'm walking around. I think I might be the first person in the world to lose weight on my feet."

The former Top Gear host confirmed he has now reached a plateau but continues taking the medication to maintain his reduced appetite and prevent weight regain.

While Mr Clarkson has avoided the constipation commonly reported by users of weight-loss injections, he acknowledged experiencing some mental fog since starting the treatment.

Writing in his column for The Sun, he added: "I'm just a little bit duller and not quite as sharp as you should be. I'm just not quite as quick-witted," he admitted, noting moments during filming where he thinks of the perfect response too late.

His long-term partner Lisa Hogan, 51, has observed that he's become somewhat grumpier on the medication.

When asked whether Ms Hogan prefers his slimmer physique, Mr Clarkson offered a characteristically self-deprecating response: "I'm still not David Gandy.

"I'm nearer to Gandy now than I was a year ago, in the same way that tectonic activity means that South America is moving closer to Australia – not by much."

The significant weight loss forms part of a broader health transformation following a serious cardiac episode in late 2024.

The presenter underwent emergency surgery to have two stents inserted into blocked arteries after doctors discovered he was just hours away from complete heart failure.

"It's been shocking these last 12 months, on every front," he reflected on the ordeal.

The health scare prompted the presenter to overhaul his lifestyle, with the Mounjaro prescription representing one element of his recovery programme.

He noted the practical benefits of his improved fitness, explaining that he can now walk the dogs for longer distances, which keeps Ms Hogan happy.

"I'm much healthier," Mr Clarkson confirmed.

Viewers tuning into ITV's Millionaire Hot Seat will notice the presenter's transformed appearance as he returns to host the faster-paced spin-off of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

Mr Clarkson has also cautioned fans not to expect the usual comedic tone from the upcoming fifth series of his Amazon Prime Video farming show.

"Anyone who thinks season five of Clarkson's Farm is a barrel of laughs is in for serious disappointment," he warned.

The presenter remains committed to authenticity in the programme, refusing to edit out unflattering moments despite potential embarrassment.

"If you do that, that way is madness, and you're not making a proper television programme," he explained.

"You're using it as a tool to boost your own ego, and that's not what Clarkson's Farm is all about."
