Helen Flanagan and Scott Sinclair feud hits new heights as soap star 'could be forced out of' £1m family home

Ms Flanagan and the former professional footballer split in 2022 after 13 years together.

They never married, and the property is understood to be registered solely in Mr Sinclair’s name.

The house was first put on the market for £1.5 million in May last year, before being reduced to £1.195 million and later to £995,000.

Sources say Mr Sinclair bought the property in June 2021 for £840,000.

Although Mr Sinclair continues to pay the household bills, he is said to believe the property is too large for Ms Flanagan and the children alone.

“Scott pays for the house and all the bills, and he’s decided a six-bedroom place is way too big for Helen on her own with the kids,” a source told The Sun.

According to reports, Mr Sinclair has offered to buy a smaller four-bedroom home for the actress and put it in her name, but on the condition that maintenance payments would stop.

“He’s even offered to put it in her name but wants to stop the maintenance payments,” the source added.

Ms Flanagan is said to have rejected the proposal and is determined to stay put, citing her children’s schooling and close proximity to her parents.

Friends of the actress also claim she invested significant amounts of her own money renovating the once run-down house, arguing the situation is unfair.

Relations between the former couple are said to have completely broken down, with all communication going through Ms Flanagan’s parents.

Tensions escalated over Christmas after Mr Sinclair missed their youngest son Charlie’s school nativity, instead attending the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Ms Flanagan publicly criticised her ex-partner online after seeing images of the trip, branding his absence “unacceptable”.

The former couple share three children: daughters Matilda, 10, and Delilah, seven, and son Charlie.

Ms Flanagan is reportedly "ready for love" in 2026 and plans to document her experiences as a single mother in a new podcast and her upcoming memoir, Head and Heart, set for release this month.

Insiders suggest Mr Sinclair is "bracing himself" for further revelations in these projects.

Following his split from Lauren Davies at the end of 2025, insiders have described the footballer as embracing a "Hot Boy Winter".

This period has been characterised by high-profile social media posts showcasing his wealth and travel.

While Mr Sinclair has been active on the dating scene over the past two years, he is currently not publicly confirmed to be in a relationship.
