Sir Rod Stewart made an unexpected appearance at a Falkirk pub following a football match on Wednesday, which left drinkers at the establishment astonished.
The devoted Celtic supporter had been watching his team secure a narrow 1-0 triumph against Falkirk at Falkirk Stadium, where the club continues to find form under caretaker boss Martin O'Neill.
Following the final whistle, the 81-year-old music icon headed to Behind The Wall, a local pub where he mingled with regulars and even participated in a singalong.
Sir Rod had previously sold out the same stadium for a concert back in 2014.

Pub owner Brian Flynn was delighted to host the star, noting that Sir Rod had visited both before and after the match.
Mr Flynn told The Sun: "Rod was very gracious, sampled our Pornstar Martini and said it was the best he had tasted! High praise indeed!"
The endorsement from one of Britain's most celebrated performers will no doubt prove a talking point for the establishment, which received an unexpected celebrity seal of approval on what turned out to be a memorable Wednesday afternoon.

Mr Flynn described the post-match entertainment as a "rousing rendition" that saw the legendary performer and his companions blend seamlessly with the regular clientele.
